Recently I had to pay a debt of 420 euros from an annual membership from a gym that I didn’t even have the chance to go to.

Paying that sum really hurt and I was reflecting on the fact that multiple people are currently paying monthly subscriptions for services they don’t use.

On a monthly basis, we don’t really notice how much cash we are wasting but when we see the bigger picture, in this case, when we consider the costs for a whole year, it does make a difference.

That reflection had an important impact on my next subscriptions and purchases for the year 2022 and the next years of course.

So without further ado, these are two simple ways of saving cash for 2022:

1. Cancel subscriptions or upgrade them to annual payments.

If you are subscribed to services that you don’t consume this is a gentle reminder to simply cancel them TODAY.

Personal examples:

-Naturally, I am subscribed to Medium and I was given 5 dollars a month and now I recently paid 50 dollars for the whole year.

If you do the math 5x12=60 dollars. I saved 10 bucks there.
