In 2022 This Is What We Need to Leave behind

“Let’s think of 2021 as a huge dumpster that we get to leave all kinds of trash in. Let’s leave behind all the baggage and start over unstained and polished.

Let’s leave behind the people who wronged us and made this year even more difficult. The ones who didn’t support us when we needed them to.

The ones who added more bitterness and heaviness into our lives. The ones who weren’t so kind to us and the ones who used us. Let’s leave them behind in 2021.

Let’s not take any of their residue or their words or their lies into 2022.

Let’s not allow them to stop us from enjoying new connections and getting to know new people who are actually worth our time and effort. Let’s cleanse our energy in 2022 by ridding ourselves of their toxicity.

Let’s leave behind all the anxiety about the future.

Let’s leave behind all the uncertainty and the chaos. Let’s leave the worries and the fears behind and let’s try to leave it up to God, up to the universe.

We still have a long way ahead and in moments of despair and uncertainty, we can only pray, we can only lean on our faith when the future is unknown.
In 2022, let’s learn to trust God more, trust his timing, his plans, and his vision.
