I Finally Joined the Medium Partner program
After eights months of writing, having posted 39 articles, and not getting a penny, I finally did it you all!
In all honesty, I am the laziest person ever when it comes to doing “paperwork”, and when I read that in order to be able to participate in the Medium Partner Program you need to submit your taxpayer information.
I told that myself: I am not doing that!
I am not American, therefore I don't have a social security number and I Am Not Doing The Process Of Applying for an EIN number (Employer Identification Number).
I don't need that, I don't need the money. (And I mean this in the most humble possible way).
You see, I've been practicing mindfulness, being in the present moment, and being grateful, for over a year now, and COVID-19 just sort of made a master we could say.
During the first lockdown, I quite complained about “losing many things”.
And so all I had left was a roof over my head and food on the table, and in reality, that’s all I actually needed.
I am so so so grateful that I get to live in the city I love, that my friends and family are okay and have health.
Grateful that I have a career and so on.
